Tempera painting
Many of the Fayum mummy portraits use tempera, Fayum mummy portraits is a modern term for the type of naturally painted portrait on wooden boards attached to Egyptian mummies from Roman Egypt.

Some paintings are more modern than the ones shown above.

Expressionism
This painting is quite clearly an impression of anger and sadness. It’s name being ‘the cry’ is easy to identify with the long jaw hanging down in what looks like an attempt to scream tears of what I think is pain.
This painting is harder to dissolve into one simple description. From what I see I think of it as a cold and warm feeling one desires to leave behind every so often. It’s colours to me identify the feelings we all have: confusion. We might not be sad or happy but often we seem to be both.
Pop Art
Pop art is a style of art that was created in the 1950’s, it was made widely popular by being drawn into posters, advertisements and comic books. One actress in particular was made into these colourful abstract images.

Some pop art paintings are more modern than the ones shown and they are both different and unique to every other painting made.

Like all of us there are big fans out there who make their own artwork out of what or who they’ve grown up to loving.

Oil Painting
Oil paint is slightly different to paint because it simply adds time to dry and the colours used do not darken as regular paint would.

Some very interesting paintings have been done in oil paints and have intrigued many others to try a similar take on the original but with their own hand on the brush.
Another way people have used oil paint is by using as many colours as they can along with some that may spark the attention of the viewers.

Pencil
Pencil is probably the most used tool to create a face, a landscape or anything that comes to mind. It is the easiest to control meaning a mistake can be erased and it can look fully complete even without colour.
Some images can be darker than others but it doesn’t take away from how well it can be drawn.

Crayon
A child is known for being handed a crayon and scribbling over a page but making something colourful from it. Something about crayons has a certain glow once you make it into something.
when you think of crayons do you think of the possibilities or do you think of it as a child’s weapon to disaster? It can be both but not only children have tried to draw a ballerina under the sky with a few different colours.
Crayons are a useful tool when it comes to a storm of colours in one page. They are usually the easiest to get a hold on too.
Grafitti
Grafitti also known as street art is often very bright and unique. It is done by many people who simply want others to see their work. It can be a beautiful portrayal of what they want you to see and is nearly a distraction. This art work can take you away from the ordinary and place you into a world of fascination.
Sometimes artists tend to win our eyes by making their work the more abrupt. For me the letters spark like fire and it makes it the more imaginary when it is seen with a blue as bright as lightening.
some artists prefer drawing people but in a way we wouldn’t usually see each other. it is more subtle than the other pictures but it attracts many by simply drawing her death stare with spray paint.

Watercolour
Watercolour is a beautiful style blended together to make beautiful ray of lights glow on paper.
Some watercolours are brushed onto the page very precisely that you can detect everything that spills onto a picture.
This image shown is done quite differently to the others, this change in textures can intrigue many viewers and is why so many people find art to be a perfect bandage to stress.

Artwork Of Pastel
Pastel can be made into beautiful chalk art when its used in so many different ways of portraying a picture.
